Package delivered. Ordering online is certainly a convenience I’ve come to enjoy more frequently. It’s become normal. As with most conveniences there’s usually a sacrifice. Telehealth is something we’ve all become familiar with during the pandemic which is a helpful tool when you can’t get in to see your doctor. However, it’s taken a turn down a dark path which, I dare say, we won’t recover from any time soon.
In December 2021, the FDA approved the abortion pill by mail. If you are a member of our Champion Club, you might remember my letter in August of 2020 where this showed up on our radar. It was during the pandemic when the abortion pill by mail was operating under the disguise of a health study. Here we are less than 2 years later and it’s the law of the land. 31 states, including Washington, have legalized the abortion pill by mail.
Please don’t be discouraged, I tell you this so you are informed. There’s a battle raging for the lives of the unborn and for the souls of the women who carry them. Women used to have to go to a healthcare provider to receive an abortion, now they are active participants, facilitating their own abortions. The thought of what these women will go through, at home, likely alone…breaks my heart.
They deserve better.
Although the tactics of the enemy changed, our mission remains the same.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. Though an army besieges me, my heart will not fear; though war breaks out against me, even then I will be confident. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:1-3,14.
In our time of waiting for the Lord; until He returns, let’s take heart and stand strong!
